After spending 13 years as a primary school teacher, I decided to dedicate my time with children on a more one to one basis. I operate a small childminding service limiting the number of children in my care. Working from home, I have a dedicated play area with numerous, toys, resources, etc, I attend the local library, playgroups and softplay centres whenever possible, visit numerous parks, children friendly play areas and child friendly restaurants. I have all the necessary certification. I thoroughly enjoy working with children and this career allows me to spend as much time with my own children as possible whilst caring for the children of other hard working parents. I have a large home and I reinforce the principal of a happy home environment, this is not a school, this is not a nursery, this is a home from home, and I look forward to meeting new children/parents and welcoming them to join this home from home. I am able to offer the government's free 15 hours nursery education and am hoping to be able to offer the 30 hours free nursery education. At my last inspection I was rated 'good' by Ofsted.
