| Hello I’m Alice, I am the deputy manager at a nursery and have worked there for 3 years, I work with children aged 2-5, however have also had experience babysitting older children to the age of 9 years. I am regularly DBS checked and have a CACHE childcare level 3 qualification, and am the SENCO (special educational needs co-ordinator) within the nursery. I also have first aid training. I’m experienced with working with children and confident with being able to tend to all their needs. | I have completed my Level 2 Health and Social Care and my Level 2 Childcare and I am currently doing my level 3 Childcare. I had a job for 6 months as a live in Nanny and worked in both a preschool (children aged 2-5), a afterschool childcare (children aged 3-11) and a nursery (based in the baby unit aged 2 months-2 1/2 years). I currently work as a support worker at a centre for adults with disabilities. I have a lot of experience with special needs children as my younger brother is disabled he has cerebral palsy and epilepsy.

| I have grown up caring for my very young siblings as well as babysitting for friends and families children. I am happy to care for children day or night and to prepare them meals, activities and put them to bed. However, most importantly I would make sure they are happy and safe.

| I am a calm and caring individual with a variety of experience in caring for children. I volunteered for 2 years as a young leader for Beavers and Cubs, working with children ranging from the ages of 6-10. In this position I arranged and ran appropriate activities for the entire group. The children particularly enjoyed sports, arts and crafts and cooking activities. On top of this, I have also had various babysitting jobs since the age of 14, working for and building relationships with local families. I worked with a range of ages, from the age of 2 to 12. I often helped the children with homework, entertained them with activities and got them ready for bed. I loved having the opportunity to work closely with families like this and built some wonderful friendships with the children. I come from a family of teachers who are all very passionate about childcare and this is a quality that has transferred onto me. I have helped in a number of schools, both in Nursery and through to Year 6. I thoroughly enjoy getting to know the children and discovering their growing interests. I also studied English at Loughborough Univeristy, which has allowed me to develop a mature and responsible approach to any task that I undertake.
