Childcare in Newmarket

| I'm a Portuguese living in Newmarket and working in Cambridge. My schedule allows me to do what I love the most: babysitting. In Portugal, I volunteered on a regular basis at a childcare institution (daycare), from newborns until 6 years old. I performed several tasks, always supervised by a childhood professional: feeding, diapering, naptimes, preparing bottles, bathing and dressing, organizing children's play dates, assisting with language acquisition, ... Later, I was a social worker at a retirement home for 7 years, where I was able to develop a multitasking role, the best mature attitudes and great values of life that I intend do print in everything I do. Recently, I was a personal assistant and a babysitter for 2 American families in New York City.

| I have cared for children aged 0-14 years old in nurseries, after school clubs and as a Nanny. I have childcare qualifications, a DBS, up to date first aid training and have taken part in many other training courses. I love planning fun activities and being outdoors with the children.

| I have previously worked as nanny, doing a full time 7am until 7pm role, and I have also worked as a nanny, doing drop off and pick ups from school, and nanny share positions. I can be fully flexible to what the family requires. I previously worked in a nursery, as a supply nursery assistant, working with children from 5 months upwards. So, I would consider myself to have a lot of childcare knowledge. I have also completed a CACHE level 3 Homebased childcare award and I have a DBS check. I also have my own son who is 14 months old. So I have personal experience too. I would be looking to bring him with me.

| I have been a Ofsted Registered Childminder since 1993. I initially became a childminder as I wanted to care for my own children. I have cared for children from 8 weeks to 16 years. I have all the relevant child minding qualifications as well as 9 GCSE's b and c grades and a Higher national Certificate in Biology. I only care for a maximum of three children at anyone time so I can provide quality childcare. | I have a lot of experience with young nieces and nephews, cousins and friends children. I am looking into a change in career and thinking to start my own business of childcare from home. I have a safe home and garden and am in the process of gaining a qualification for this.

| I have 10 years of childcare experience starting from new-born's upwards. I have been working as a nanny/mothers help for two families for 7 years. The roles I have within the families include Picking the children up from school, helping with home work, organising fun activities, play dates with friends and family playing with the kids and cooking healthy and fun meals for them. I have also stayed and looked after the children over the weekends when the parents have gone away.
