| I have worked as a teaching assistant now for 3 years. I have worked in mainstream schools with year 3 and 4 classes but am currently at a special needs school working primarily in the nursery department although I have worked up in the older classes when help has been needed. I work with autistic children for the most part and work on an ABA program. I will often bake cakes and particularly like to paint and draw.

| I am 52 yrs old with 20 years previous experience as a teacher, Headteacher and Nursery Manager. I now work part-time as a babysiter/nanny. I like spending time with children of all ages.....cuddling babies, playing peekaboo, singing songs, reading books to toddlers, helping primary age children with homework, playing board games, or just chilling and relaxing with older ones. I have extensive experience of children with a wide range of special needs, including emotional and behaviour needs as well as learning and physical/sensory needs. I currently have a few families who I babysit for once a month, but am looking for some more. I would prefer regular sitting as I can then get to know the children and build a relationship with them, but I am also available for one off, short notice jobs. I am happy to meet you and your child/children prior to becoming a regular sitter, however, if you need me at short notice, I would always arrive 10-15 minutes early so I can discuss routines, favourite toys, comforters, any medical issues etc with you before you leave. I also always text when your child/children are settled down for the night so you have peace of mind on your night out.

| Hello, my name is April, I am 26 years old. I live in southsea. I have recently been blessed with a beautiful nephew who I’ve helped raise as my sister is a single mum. Some of my hobbies include: cooking, piano, art, reading, being outdoors and spending time with friends and family. I started out in childcare when I was 16 years old and completed my childcare qualification on the job. I worked in a nursery setting for 4 years and looked after the ages from newborn to pre-school. I then found a lovely family who needed a nanny and worked for them for 1 year. Which the job roles included: school run, fun and creative activities, building good relations with parents and children, cooking, cleaning, running errands and home organisation. For the last few years I haven’t found anything that is as satisfying as looking after children and I really want to get back into the field. In my previous nanny role, I was also their housekeeper so I am more than happy to help around the house if and when needed. I live be myself so I am more than capable of running a home.
