Nannies in Shipley

| I have 5+ years experience as a teaching assistant. I also have 2 sons who are 11 and 7. I have worked with children since I was 14, varying from nursery settings to schools and I have knowledge of Early Years Curriculum plus Key Stage 1 and 2 curriculum. I know some makaton due to my experience working with children who have additional needs and I specialise in autism. Ideally I would be able to fit a nannying job around childcare (mostly for my youngest) which could involve picking him up from school and bringing him back to the family home if possible. I am very passionate about childcare and development and greatly enjoy watching children grow and progress. I am currently taking lessons to get my driving license so at the moment I don’t have my own transport but I’m more than happy to take public transport for the right family. I have my youngest booked into Club so my hours can start from 8:15/8:30.

| I have been a qualified nursery practitioner for the past 20 years, working in day nurseries around Leeds and Bingley. I have lots of experience with children aged 1-5. I believe that children gain lots of learning through play. And enjoy thinking of lots of fun activities around the EYFS to help develop these skills. Exploring the outdoor world and enjoying lots of creative activities to explore different textures. NNEB level 3 certificate, first aid and safeguarding trained.
