Childcare in Godalming

| I have just moved from London to Godalming and am currently looking to join a lovely family on a part time- basis. I am available for 3 full days per week or as an afternoon nanny, for evening babysitting and can do extra hours for school holidays too. I am very reliable and punctual and have a strong understanding of what childcare roles involve. I've worked with children from the ages of 4-12. I am nurturing, fun, yet able to set firm boundaries too. I like spending time with children and enjoy hearing their often very interesting takes on the world around us! My previous jobs duties were as follows: *School drop off and pick up *Overseeing homework *Cooking nutritious meals for the children *Arranging play dates and outings *Taking care of their needs such as preparing them for school trips and ensuring they had everything they needed on a day to day basis *Laundry and bedding change (children's only) *Liaising with their parents on matters and other parents too. I am currently looking to buy a car so it will not be a problem for a role I have to travel for. ***References available upon request***

| Hello! My name is Harry and I live in Godalming, Surrey. I am an Early Career Teacher (ECT), which means I recently gained my qualified teacher status (QTS). Alongside being an SEMH teacher (teaching a mixed KS2 class). I have worked with children in a paid capacity since 2015, starting my career at a local childcare company called KOOSA Kids. I progressed within the company and I recently managed one of their after school clubs and currently a holiday club in the local area. I have previously worked at two local schools before and after completing my teacher training, as well as volunteering in a number of schools in the area (including a school in Bognor Regis) and have experience teaching / working with children from Reception to Year 6. I hold an undergraduate degree in Education, Special Needs & Disability from the University of Chichester, as well as a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), both from the University of Winchester. I am also studying part time for an MA in Education, also at the University of Winchester.

Over the years I have done the school runs, meals, certain activities such as reading and taking them to the park and of course putting the children to bed. It also helps by the fact that I have two younger brothers which I helped out with a lot therefore improving my childcare skills further.
