Childcare in Didcot

| Experience in nurseries and as an Ofsted registered nanny, BA in fine art, paediatric first aid, online DBS, L3 qualification in childcare, own child.

| I have a vast range of experience in childcare including different positions working in nursery’s and after school clubs to running and being manager of my own preschool. I have done a small amount of nannying and lots of babysitting. I am first aid trained and have experience with special needs.

| I have experience in childcare, for the last 3 years volunteering and working in all different types of situations, such as volunteering at Sunday school for children aged 3-5 years and volunteering at a summer group for children aged 3-11 years. Most recently, I have been doing before and after school drop offs and pick ups for families. As well as doing afternoons nights for a set of twins(aged 2), which includes meal preparation, bathing and then putting them to bed. I have experience with children who have additional needs, I babysit for a 5-year-old with Austim and his brother(22 months) who also has additional needs . Since September 2016, I have been enrolled in college, doing level 3 Childcare and Education, which specialises between the ages of 0 to 7 years, I have now nearly finished(need to get the certificate). I have undergone a DBS check, and understand the development of each individual child, their individual needs, and how I can support them. As part of my course, I have worked in a nursery for children up to 5 years old, in all age ranges. As well as worked in a pre school and a primary school, which I did between September 2017 to April 2018. I have a level 3 Paediatric First Aid and level 2 food safety.

| I have had experience caring for children in a childcare environment, including children with certain special educational needs (eg. Autism, ADHD, ADD), as well as running clubs for 11-14 year olds and tutoring GCSE age children for their exams (Maths, English, Performing Arts). I have had first aid training, which I am currently looking to renew my certificate for. I have experience looking after animals, with and without children being present, such as dogs, cats and reptiles, and am insured to house sit and care for pets.

| Whilst working towards my level 3 childcare I have had to complete 2 years placement in a nursery setting. Meaning that i have experience with children from 6 months to 5 years. I also have quite a bit of experience babysitting ages 2-10 years.
