I have a dedicated playroom although children play and eat and engage in activity throughout the whole of the downstairs accommodation including kitchen, a secure garden, a gated decking area and a dining room and we have an additional bathroom downstairs. I can cater for children 0 -8 years plus dropping and collecting from local schools/nurseries/playgroups if required. We are pet friendly. I have fish, I keep a couple of hens, and I do have a dog, a very friendly German shepherd, but I have policies around that, and never leave dogs and children alone, even though my dog is very tolerant. Childminding offers a home environment, we are not a nursery, although we are well resourced and equipped and follow the same codes and guidelines.
