I have worked in a nursery for 4 years, primarily in the baby room (3 months to 2 years) however also have experience working in the toddler and preschool rooms. I have no problems with pets, and have a cocker spaniel of my own. Previous to working in childcare I was studying to become a midwife, delivered 17 babies and cared for hundreds of mothers and babies during my studies, however decided that caring for children and babies is my calling. I have a valid DBS check as well as a clean UK driving licence. I regularly care for my nieces and nephews (b9, g7, g5, g4, g4, g9 months) as well as babysit. | Hi my name is Thea I’m 23 years old. My experience in childcare is based on a personal level, as the oldest of 3 younger siblings I cared for my 2 younger brothers as my other sibling is just 2 years younger than me. Taking care of two boys was hard work but I love taking care of my brothers. Lately, I had a few jobs working as a child carer as I have been taking care of two boys when there parents have work. I can prepare basic meal prep (oven or ready made meals), also helping with bathing, I can also pick up/ drop off the kids from the school as long as it’s walking distance as I don’t drive.
