We are looking for some immediate help during this tricky start to 2021, now that primary schools are closed. Our kids are 6 and 4.5 (elder sister and younger brother) and they need help with their home-schooling whilst we try and run our design business in the house. We'd like someone experienced, caring and positive to work for up to 6 hours every day (but we are flexible for the right person) whilst the schools are closed. To help them do their school-planned learning activities (mixed with some playing in the garden and in the local park). The school are fab and give lots of interesting ‘fun’ projects and activity resources via Google Classroom and Tapestry. And we will also help you plan things to do each day. We find it's easier to focus one on one with them, taking each one separately (as they're at different stages), letting the other one hang loose for a while, whilst you focus on the other one. Some fun learning things can be done together, but sometimes it needs to be one on one. The most important thing, though, is to keep them happy and active and interested in learning, being curious and trying new things. WHEN SCHOOLS GO BACK When schools re-open, the help we need would likely change to after-school hours help doing similar things from 3pm in the afternoon to 5.30pm/6pm. We hope to hear back from you for a chat to see if there might be a good fit. We are a happy, relaxed family, and we would make you very welcome!
