***NIGHT AWAKE CARER WANTED** Solihull Area Hello - looking for an in home awake night carer for our gorgeous, energetic 2.5 year old son for one night a week on a long term basis with occasional flexibility to cover holidays/sick and extra shifts for other care team members. A member of staff is leaving for maternity/ family reasons. We have two other members on the team. He requires 1:1 all through the night and has a very rare condition called Hyperinuslinism and other complex medical/SEN needs. Duties would include but not limited to pump/button feeding and medication, blood sugar checking. Carer and night work experience are essential however all other training such as feeding, sugar checks will be provided. General shift time is 9pm -7am. Rate starting from £11.50 per hour. Please note this role would not be suitable for anyone who has day commitments after the night of work and it is a long standing role.

Young adult, wheelchair bound. Support required in mornings to dress, change adult diapers, wash and feed breakfast. Hospital adjustable bed and lifting hoist in bedroom as well. I'm looking for a nanny who could look after my son before and after school on: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from February (2023). 5 hours per day: 6.30am -8.30am and then 3.30 - 6.30pm, with the possibility of some additional hours to be arranged on an ad hoc basis. He is a very happy boy who loves the outdoors, is hugely motivated by music, enjoys books and many types of play. Josh has additional learning needs - he is seven years old, non-verbal and and tube fed. He has a rare condition that causes global developmental delay but is making excellent progress physically - walking and running and also making some impressive progress in understanding and communication. I will provide full training for feeding and day-to-day care and we have the support of community nurses. He is an incredible, happy, funny, engaging and loving character. Ideally you will have SEN experience and be Ofsted registered - but I will pay for the Ofsted registration fee if required. You will need childcare qualifications at level 3 for this registration.
