Child has learning and mobility disabilities

Hours will mainly be after school 3 days a week and during school holidays (days/hours to be discussed). Key responsibilities will include picking up from school, light physio activities, providing a snack, nappy changing if/when needed, playing and engaging, taking to activities, generally keeping an eye on her. Previous experience looking after a child with cerebral palsy or limited mobility as she is unable to stand/walk unaided. Crawls around the house and uses a walker/wheelchair outdoors. She likes to know you are engaging with her and enjoys getting praise. You will need to a patient person. She has limited vocabulary but can say/understand words in English and Arabic. It would help if you have experience with potty training as she is currently potty training. This is a non-smoking household and we are strict on that as she has chronic lung disease.

Special needs with Epilesy support & personal care with 2-1 support to work with existing carer taking my son out into community for walks in wheelchair swimming trampolining . He is non verbal but gives smiles and is cheeky . Loves music and dvds but are repetitive due to autism. Daily hours are 7.30 - 3pm Mon to Thursday good rate of pay

To help alongside my other P/A as a 2:1 team with my autistic son who’s 21 Sat 10am till 10 pm Sun 10am till 8 pm Possibility of 1 day shift of 8 - 10 hours I pay £11 per hour. Holiday pay pension and double time bank holiday

my son is 20 and has 2:1 care at all times. He can be challenging on occasion but with the right PAs he’s a joy. Must be able to drive

I have 2 children Omar is 9 has autism and Faye 4 normal lovely girl

Responsibility will include collection from school, make and give dinner, help with toileting and personal care bath/shower. Will need to be comfortable at our home as child will not go elsewhere. Times will be 3.30pm - 5-6:30pm (term time) to start with hopefully slow progression to more days and possible weekends. Must have DBS check and experience with SEND children. Must have own transport. (days and times to be officially confirmed)
