A kindly, soothing, gentle presence is required to stay with our two small dogs. One is almost blind and 14 years old. The other is 8. We need someone who knows what dogs need overnight. My husband will have urgent surgery for his third bout with cancer. The surgery will be sometime after the surgeon gets back from annual leave 22/05/24. We live in Colchester and need someone to care for our dog. We are looking for a sensible, reliable and experienced dog sitter to help us out. I hope to find someone I can trust as my husband has cancer and I too have health problems, although I've said this is a one off....there will probably be opportunities every week or several times a week if you're willing to walk them and/or dogsit overnight? This first would be an overnight stay while my husband is recovering or two. Other opportunities are dog walking and dog sitting in our home by day for a few hours. My oldest dog is blind and cannot stay at any other home or she becomes traumatised. A little inside, small distance ball chasing is fine. They both love gentle cuddles and being soothed.
