We're looking for an individual who can fully own the upkeep of our home. Recent changes in our working roles means we have zero time to dedicate to housekeeping and a cleaner for 4 hours a week (which is what we currently have) just isn't enough. We want someone to come several times a week (during school hours so the children aren't underfoot) and look after everything. Deep cleaning the house, (not just a top show tidy and clean) so that it's immaculate. It's a very old house so there are lots of nooks and crannies to keep cobweb and dust free. Doing all the washing, ironing and putting away of laundry plus any other help we may need around the home. I don't want to have to write lists of jobs which need doing. I need someone who is going to take pride in maintaining an immaculate home as if it were their own. I'm only prepared to pay for actual hours worked - not whizzing through things and leaving early. There is more than enough work to fill 10 hours and I'll expect all of them to be worked accordingly. We have two young children and generally have a reasonably tidy house anyway because I like everything to be clutter free. I do have very high standards and would expect anyone who takes this post to have them too. I’m happy to be flexible on the actual days worked, Mon-Friday and how the hours are distributed across the week.
