We live in Oxford OX1 and are searching for an efficient housekeeper to help us to keep the house clean and tidy, manage laundry, food shopping and general household tasks. We are a family of 4 and have two lovely dogs. Driving is essential as we're located away from public transport.

Hi, we are looking for a general house keeper from March to help us in our home for 5/6 (tbc) hours per week. We have 5 kids, 7 pets. So a busy household! We are looking for someone who likes pets and on days I am working in the office, is able to let the dogs out into our courtyard for some fresh air and maybe even a play out the front. Each week there may be different jobs depending on what needs to be done. We don't have our children here 100% of the time, but when they are here, there may be the need to focus on different areas. The main focus will be on the main communal areas. My partner is disabled after a car accident left him unable to use his arms or hands, however he does go into the office 3 times a week. This is why I need a little bit of help. Some days I might need help with a general tidy up, plus some ironing but this isnt every week. Some weeks I might need a general clean and help sorting out a cabinet for example. Our kids are lazy! The focus won't be their rooms but might be required occasionally to give their rooms a quick clean. We are also looking for someone to help tidy, not just clean if possible to make it safe for my partner to walk around the house. We've never been able to get the house fully tidy and sorted since we moved in, the house has had major renovation works going on over a year and we are still finding a place for everything. We have all our cleaning products and equipment and can get more when needed. We are quite laid back and a friendly, animal loving house hold so would like someone who fits in. I know the start date is not until March, this is because we still have works going on in the home. However, happy to meet you prior so you can come and take a look at the house. We also live away from public transport so you might need to be able to drive. There are bus routes from Oxford/abingdon but it’s a good 30 min plus walk from the bus stops. We have our own products and equipment so no need to worry. I am also happy if you want to split the time up over two days. Thanks. Stacey and Tony
