The ideal candidate will have experience working in Private Households, Hotels or as a Chief Stewardess; with excellent housekeeping skills and a pleasant and positive attitude. Duties and responsibilities: Meticulous cleaning of all areas Maintaining all surfaces, floors, furniture and antiques to the highest standard Ensuring the house is immaculately presented and guest ready at all times Dealing with household laundry, delicate fabrics and handwashing Wardrobe management Key Requirements: Positive team player able to lead and train new recruits Excellent people and communication skills Exacting standards and a genuine passion to deliver exceptional, seamless results Trustworthy and able to handle confidential information appropriately Able to prioritise and multitask effectively Full UK driving license and own transport (due to rural location) Excellent checkable references Work Pattern: 5 days a week with flexibility required to work 2 weekends a month on a rota basis. Duties to include: Cleaning of bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchens, living rooms & some outside areas Making beds and changing bed linen Laundry - collecting, sorting, washing and ironing Polishing & care of silver, antiques & fine furniture Vacuuming and mopping floors Tidying and organising to a high standard Dusting and polishing of fixtures and fittings Interior window cleaning Setting tables & assisting with service at events Work Pattern: 5 days a week with flexibility required to work weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis with time off given in lieu. Part time candidates able to work 2 or 3 days a week (and particularly over weekends) will also be considered. Excellent salary dependent on experience and training opportunities.
