I am looking for a reliable nanny to provide childcare for 2 children, one will be 5 1/2 and the other 11 months at the start time of September 2024. The hours will likely be 8-5 Monday- Friday however as my work hours are not set this could change slightly from week to week but not greatly.
We will need drop off to the school which is a 25minute drive from home on 3 mornings per week and pick up for 3 afternoons (subject to change weekly) as well then full time care of the younger sibling throughout the day. My partner works from home so there is support in the home however he will need to focus on his job. I would like trips to the park, softplay and other facilities as well as light housework - keeping kitchen, living room and children’s rooms tidy.
You should have few years of experience, a full driving license with a few years experience and a recent dbs check.
The position will not start full time for a year when I begin my job however I would like to hire the successful candidate part-time a couple of months prior to build a relationship with us as a family and make sure the girls are comfortable. If you think you'd be a good match, please apply.

We are a dual nationality couple, married 15 years. My husband is British and I am from the US, however we have spent the last 13 years in Dubai. We have a 3.5 year old son Samuel, who is a conversationalist, keen climber, investigator and animal lover.
We will be relocating to Barton Under Needwood area in December/January. We will likely require 3-5 days of babysitting in the home from January to March, however are exploring various forms of childcare after having a nanny during our time in Dubai. Our goal is to find the right fit for Samuel, who is a child born in COVID times. He takes time to build trust and detach from mum. Once you have his trust, he doesn't look back! The right person for Sam will love learning, getting on the floor / messy to play, encouraging him to get out and explore parks/the community, and reading.
We would appreciate someone who doesn't mind tidying up dishes, after Samuel's meals, and doing the odd folding of laundry. We like to integrate Samuel into household routines as he enjoys it. We have an indoor/outdoor cat.
