Looking for some childcare help during the summer holidays. Ideally for a few hours at a time for a couple of days a week.

Part-time over 3 days – 12 hours a week term time, up to 22 hours holidays Permanent Nanny Housekeeper working for a family in Robertsbridge. My husband and I work full time locally as Accountants, and live in the wonderful village of Robertsbridge. We have two boys, aged 5 and 7 who attend the same school, who love being in the garden, playing board games, cooking and playing sport. We have two energetic and busy boys and live in a 4 bed, 2/3 bath home. The job is 2pm to 6pm three days a week. Ideally the days will be Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Wednesday is a necessity, but the other two days could be different if desired. The role could be reduced to be just 3-6 pm on two or three days if more desirable, with less housekeeping work. Duties will include: • School Pick ups & After school activities • Dinner for the boys • Help with homework routine • Between 2-4pm - housework such as laundry, ironing, changing beds/towels, light hoovering and cooking dinner for the boys. • Between 4pm-6pm collecting the boys, helping them with their homework, giving them dinner, playing games. • Extra hours as agreeable in the school holidays. The boys are energetic and enjoy a multitude of extra-curricular activities including lots of sport and music. The ideal candidate would enjoy the outdoors, able to cook for hungry children who are not fussy eaters and can manage routine to assist us in helping them thrive. A healthy appetite for competitive board games would also be welcome (by our boys!). We both work full-time, but do not commute and so are reliably on time at end of day for handover. Additional hours would be requested in school holidays for some days, extending two of the days to a full day (8am-6pm) where possible. Other weeks would continue with the above hours as the children attend holiday clubs. Applicants should have: • Previous domestic housekeeping & childcare experience • Be able to cook, follow recipes. • Be honest & trustworthy. • Be capable of sole charge. • Have common sense & initiative. • Be a driver with your own car. • Non – smoking work environment.

We need an experienced person to take care of our 3 children who are 5, 7 and 11 whilst I work locally. There is an opportunity to work with another family too who have similar aged children. We are looking for a mother's help to help look after our lovely 9 month old boy while his mother recovers from having major surgery. It would be great if we could find someone who's still training or recently qualified wanting to gain more experience as the mum herself has had a long career as a maternity nurse & nanny and would love to help someone else gain valuable experience. We don't have any set hours that we are specifically looking as finding the right person is more important but would generally be between Mon-Fri while the dad is out working. Our little boy is very cute (although we are very biased!) he's a happy chappy who loves to go out for play dates, music group, swimming, etc. so would be lovely to find someone who would like to keep talking him to these things. If anyone is interested in helping us out whether it's 5 days a week or just a few hrs we will consider anything as long as its the right person!
