Experience of working with young adults who have personal care need.
Understanding of the specific needs of young people/ adults with a physical disability and requiring personal care.
Successful experience of providing support for students with a range of disabilities.
Understanding of the specific educational needs of learners with disabilities and/or learning difficulties.
Experience of maintaining clear and accurate records.
Current First Aid at Work qualification.
Experience and relevant training in administering medicines.
Relevant training in use of hoist.
We need a carer who can hit the ground running this academic year- starting in Sept 15. You will be on a casual contract working within the Additional Learning Support team initially for a 3-4 week period with the possibility of a longer term contract.
