Looking for a nanny job
| Hello, my name is Morganne. I live in Nottingham and I’m looking for a long term nanny job. I have been working for two separate families the past two years with young children ages 1-3. I am a responsible, hardworking, and reliable 30 year old. I have a bachelors degree in fine arts, worked as a teachers aide, and have experience with special needs children. I have 10+ years in childcare with children of all ages and most importantly I absolutely love kids! I am happy to provide any references if given the opportunity for an interview.
Morganne has only recently joined us as a Nanny but we are so pleased she responded to our advert as she has been brilliant! Our son took to her straight away, and she had him giggling in the interview! Morganne's a lot of fun, and our little boy loves playing games with her. She's great at making sure he's eating and drinking well throughout the day and is really gentle with him whenever he gets upset. Thank you Morganne for being an incredible Nanny!"

What interview questions should I ask a childcare provider?

You want to find a childcare provider that will get along with your kids, but also follows many of the same parenting ideas you have. Structure your questions around how your kids behave in certain situations and what the provider thinks is the best action to take. And because there are plenty of activities to do in Nottingham, you should ask questions about the fun things each childcare provider would do to keep your kids happy and entertained. Finally, ask each provider about their past childcare experience, references from other families in Nottingham and if they are certified in first aid.
