We are a fun & relaxed American family living in the Chelsea area with 3 kids (ages 12,10 & 8) and looking for an experienced, loving and energetic live-in Au Pair. This is a long term position starting ASAP and we would like somebody who is happy to commit for at least 12 month or longer.

Our last au pair was from New Zealand and was with us for 3 + years, sadly she moved onto a new career!

We would like you to
-carefully supervise the children in the park etc (no texting or personal calls)
-help getting the children ready in the morning (breakfast, getting them dressed and ready for school) and at night (dinner, shower, reading a good night story, keep the bedtime routine)
-school drop off’s and pick up’s (when required)
-be experienced at working with young children
-communicate openly with both our children and us

You must be
-ALREADY BE IN THE UK - NO SKYPE INTERVIEWS
- HAVE AT LEAST 1-2 YEARS OF CHILDCARE EXPERIENCE
-fit, healthy with a positive outlook, bright and able to use initiative
-loyal, reliable, trustworthy and honest
-energetic, fun, organized and independent
-warm, loving, patience and caring
-clean, tidy and see where help is required
-fluent in English
-able to travel with us
-able to work weekends when necessary
- non smoker
-have an UK/EU/Australian or NZ passport with valid visa to work in UK

We have a cleaner so we do not expect our Nanny to clean the house but would expect her to keep it tidy and light cleaning where necessary

As we travel a lot (2 months in summer at our holiday house, school holidays in general, weekend breaks). We need our Nanny to have a valid passport as we would like you to come along with us when necessary.

Your hours would be #.## - #.##/#am with most of your day free with starting again at 3pm. Also this position will be not sole charge as I (Mom) will be home as well & I am a hands on mum! We like you to do up to 2 nights of babysitting per week if needed.
You will be off 2 days a week.

We are living in a 5 bedroom house very close to the Kings Rd. You will have your own bedroom, WIFI, your own TV.
