Childcare in Trafford

| I am 27 years old. I Have a level 3 advanced GCE in childrens care, learning & development and I am currently completing my foundation degree in early years and childhood studies. I have been in the childcare sector for 10 years now and in that time I have worked with children aged 0 - 16. I have worked in nurseries, schools and spent a few years being a nanny. I have a lot of experience and references to go with it. I currently provide regular babysitting for around 10 families, most of whom I have looked after from the start of my childcare career.

| I have worked within childcare setting for over 7 years now since leaving school! I have a university degree in children and young people’s learning and development. I have experience within early years, primary school, special education needs. I look after family and outside families on regular weekends! I am reliable, up to date on all safeguarding and child protection courses, I have an up to date DBS.

| I have completed a Diploma, Foundation degree and a BA Honours Open Degree in Childcare and Education. I used to work as part of a support team at a residential boys school. I then went on to work at a secondary school as a teaching assistant; supporting SEN students for 4 years. I have also taught dancing to children 3-16 years old and did this for 9 years. I have recently completed a 3 day first aid course whilst working on placement in a local college working as part of the student wellbeing team. I have just completed my level 5 course in youth and community work at MMU. Whilst studying I was working full time at Costa Coffee as a supervisor, I provided respite care for a family who has a teenage boy with downs syndrome and I also provided after school care for a Spanish family who had 3 children. I have recently just completed a degree with the Open University and currently work full time as a teaching assistant at Manchester Pupil Referral Unit, working alongside KS3 students. I also provide respite care for a family and support their 18 year old son with Downs Syndrome.

| Growing up in a large family I am more then used to the various tasks that come with looking after children. I love spending time with my 8 younger cousins and I often look after the two youngest in particular - having girly nights in and taking them on adventures out. I am passionate in everything I do and strive to meet the needs of people I am working for whether this be child care, pet care or other household jobs. By trade I am a beautician so I take pride in keeping things clean, tidy and organised.
