A caregiver who is willing to accompany my child on outings to meet others or access activities in the community. B, is 9 years old. He has non verbal autism and ADHD. He is difficult to understand if one is not familiar with him, however, we have learnt, his requirements indicated by certain sounds, body language and habits, and his wonderful big sister (13) is always supportive to "translate", as such, what he needs if one struggles to understand him. We require sporadic help- mostly to give mum a break every now and again, which would include one overnight stay per month. We would also require potential nanny to attend for a few hours a week initially so that our B, can become accustomed to nanny before we entrust him into your care. We need someone who has endless patience, firm but gentle, attentive and caring and most importantly, highly experienced in caring for children with special needs.
